Betzold Magnetic Field

With the Betzold Magnetic Field set, children can experimentally explore the power of magnetism. A sealed plastic cylinder with a hollow centre contains iron filings, which you can move around using the 7cm long magnet. The cylindrical container allows children to see the three-dimensional magnetic field that forms around the magnet when it's placed in the centre of the cylinder. All the iron filings are safely sealed inside, so there's no risk of them spilling. The Betzold Magnetic Field experiment set is suitable for children from 3 years of age.
