The Blade Nano S3 is one of the best micro helicopters for normal flight and 3D aerobatics. The RTF version includes everything you need to fly including a battery and USB charger. The construction of the helicopter is made of highly flexible polymers and together with the main shaft and tail section made of carbon fiber, provide the model with a lightweight airframe with amazing durability. Most of the impacts that occur when practicing 3D manoeuvres will not cause any damage. However, if something goes wrong or breaks, spare parts are available. Vertically mounted control unit and SAFE stabilization for precise and smooth flight
The control unit is installed vertically to reduce vibration and increase steering precision. As a result, the Blade Nano S3 RC helicopter is easier to fly. Rotor blades have better steering response. AS3X stabilization compensates for turbulence and ensures a smooth flight. Select one of the three SAFE modes to adjust the level of assistance to your ability. Also included is a Panic function that will put the model into hover if you lose control of the model during flight or while performing aerobatics. Powerful linear servos, combined with a controlled collective and a LiPo 45C battery, give the model the ability to perform dazzling 3D aerobatics.
Stabilization SAFE and SAFE-Z flight level control
The Blade Nano S RC helicopter model is equipped with SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology - a revolutionary electronic flight protection system that allows anyone to gain greater confidence in flying. With SAFE's versatile flight mode system, you'll gradually master the controls of the helicopter - to do this, you can use the flight modes of your choice by simply changing them with a switch. SAFE-Z, the altitude control function, helps keep the helicopter at the same altitude using a carefully programmed accelerometer.
Flight modes
Stability - Z mode:Maximum model inclinations are limited. When the levers are moved to neutral, the model stabilizes. A new feature is the automatic altitude hold function - if the throttle control is in neutral (centre), then the model maintains a constant altitude. Climb and descent are controlled by engine speed. The mode is ideal for beginners. Constant altitude is maintained by an accelerometer.
Stability mode:Maximum model inclinations are limited. When the levers are moved to neutral, the model stabilizes. The rotation speed is reduced. The helicopter uses a stability sensor. This mode is designed for intermediate pilots.
Agility mode: mode offers full control without any restrictions. You can fly the helicopter on its back and perform acrobatic turns.
A controlled collective and a light and strong skeleton
The RC model of the Blade Nano S3 helicopter has great potential thanks to the steerable collective that changes the angle of attack of the rotor blades. The system, as in large helicopters, provides precise control and the ability to perform complex aerobatics. Thanks to the numerous carbon components used in the construction and the strong and especially lightweight composite plastic made of highly flexible polymers, the model is light in weight and highly resistant in the event of a collision. The Nano S has a finished lightweight painted fairing with a new design and new Blade logo. There is a SAFE logo on the signpost.
Durable control unit and lightweight servos for maximum performance
With the new design of the control unit with perpendicular mounting on the airframe, the electronic sensors have better resistance to vibration. The control unit is mounted on flexible silentblocks. The digital linear nano servos in the Nano S model weigh only 2.3 g. This is the only way the model can achieve extraordinary performance. The RTF version includes a 6-channel Blade transmitter with switches for changing modes and for dual deflections. The status LED indicates that the battery in the model is low.
