A thriving trade in desirable goods adds lustre to your cities. Progress and prosperity are coming, and new buildings and institutions are providing useful benefits. However, your wealth also attracts hordes of barbarians that only strong and well-trained knights can defeat. Only the bravest who stand up to the barbarians can protect their cities from destruction. With many new gameplay features, you'll enjoy challenging and immersive adventures with the City and Knights of Catan expansion. The expansion extends the game time by 1 hour. It is intended for experienced players aged 12 years and over, as long as their playing is with a good knowledge of the rules of the basic version. The game cannot be played on its own and you need to own the base game Catan - Settlers of Catan.
