Dixit 7th Expansion (Revelations)

Dixit 7 Revelations expansion offers a treat with magical illuminations
Dixit, a fun social game with an innovative concept, has received its seventh Dixit expansion: Revelations. The expansion adds 84 more cards that are completely different from the ones you're used to and familiar with. They were realised by the famous French illustrator Marin Coudray, who decorated them with mysterious and enchanting images. There is a strong influence of early 20th century design, from Art Deco to Surrealism. Dixit 7 Revelations is perfect for all lovers of art, symbolism and deeper meanings, whether you're a seasoned Dixit player or just starting out. It is designed for 3 to 8 players aged 8 and up. You should allow approximately 30 minutes per game.

How to play?
Each player is dealt 6 cards. The beginning player chooses one of his cards, places it face up on the table and describes it verbally. It's up to him whether he limits himself to one word or makes up a whole story. The others add one of their cards to it. The cards on the table are shuffled and then spread face up. Now the other players use their number chips to guess which card the starting player has described. Points are then awarded based on the correctness of the tickets. The game ends with the last card in the deck.

84 art-inspired cards bring new possibilities for game associations
Dixit 7 Revelations brings new dimensions of visual storytelling and interpretation to the world of Dixit. Includes 84 new cards with original illustrations that can be used alone or shuffled into the base game. The cards can be used with the base game components for more variety, or you can use them for a standalone game of Dixit (in which case you would need to get your own scoring board and voting chips and know the rules of the game). The cards offer a fascinating mix of styles inspired by early 20th century art, from Art Deco to Surrealism. The illustrations are full of references to Picasso, Magritte, Matisse, Escher, Greek mythology, Indian religion, pop culture and Internet memes. You will find stylized scenes reminiscent of New York architecture and Tiffany glass lamps, as well as numerous allusions to ancient myths and folk tales. Each card is a small work of art that invites deeper exploration and interpretation.
