Have fun with the traditional game of Kanasta

Kanasta is a card game from the rummy family for 2 to 6 players. It is played with several (usually two) decks of French playing cards, each deck contains cards of values 2-10, J, Q, K, And in four colours (heart, a scolding, Spades, crosses) and two jokers. Players (or pairs of players playing together) try to get as many canasta - groups of seven cards of the same rank, up to three of which can be replaced by wild cards, which are jokers and deuces in canasta. Each player draws one card from the deck in his turn, unloads and puts one card on the discard pile. The game ends when a player gets rid of all his cards. At the end of the game, the total score of the players is added up, depending on the number of cards won and the score of the cards dealt. A game consists of several hands and ends when a player or pair has scored a set number of points. The overall winner will be the player or pair that scores the highest number of points.
