For 2005, the CBR 600RR underwent a major upgrade that included new fairings, fully adjustable inverted front forks, disc brakes with radial four-piston calipers, and a new aluminum frame, swingarm and rear shock. Average power has also been increased to approximately 105 hp (78 kW). The 2006 model was no different from the previous model. The Maisto Honda CBR 600RR 1:12 metal model accurately captures all the characteristic features of this motorcycle, including aerodynamic fairing, sports saddle, twin shock absorbers and wide tyres.
