Lead your unit to victory
In Memoir '44, you become generals and lead your troops into the major battles of World War II. The game plan consists of hexagonal fields on which realistic scenarios play out, from Omaha Beach to the Ardennes. Each scenario faithfully replicates the deployed forces and terrain and delivers specific objectives.

Exercise your strategic skills
Players take turns to draw order cards that determine movement and attacks. Combat is evaluated by dice and the results are provided by terrain, range and unit type. You will find infantry, tanks, artillery and elite units with special abilities. Units move around the battlefield in formation, occupy strategic positions and earn victory medals for destroying enemies or completing scenario objectives. The game offers not only classic missions, but also special rules that add authenticity to the scenarios - for example, tank storming, air attacks or defending fortified bunkers. Each battle is tense to the last moment thanks to a combination of cards and dice rolls, and players feel like they are standing in the middle of a real historical battle.

History and creators of the game
Memoir '44 was first published in 2004 to mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day. The author is American game designer Richard Borg, best known for his Commands & Colours system. The illustrations were created by French illustrator Julien Delval, the graphic design was prepared by Caroline Sébayhi and the plastic models of the units were designed by Yannick Hennebo and Adrien Martinot. The game was published by Days of Wonder and has won a number of awards since its release, including the International Gamers Award 2004. In the past, Memoir '44 has only appeared in our distribution with Czech rules and a translated deck of cards. But now comes a fully localised base game in unified quality, finally giving players the complete experience this historical legend deserves.
