Quercetti 00808 Pixel Photo Princess

The Quercetti Pixel Photo Princess mosaic is a creative set that lets children aged 6 and up create portraits of their favourite princesses, Cinderella and Ariel. The game works on the principle of pointillism, where a picture full of shades is composed of several basic colours. The set contains a total of 6600 plastic pegs in six different colours, which insert into the perforated boards according to the enclosed template. Once finished, you can frame the completed work and hang it on the wall as an original picture.

Create your own work of art

Building the picture is simple and intuitive. Children choose one of the two princess templates and place it under the connected perforated boards. After that, they simply insert the coloured pegs into the holes according to the pattern. The set uses the principle of optical colour mixing, known from the art style of pointillism. From just six peg colours, the human eye perceives a wide palette of shades when viewed from a distance, making the result look like a photograph. Simply insert the finished portrait into the enclosed frame and hang it on the wall.
