Safari Ltd. Estemmenosuchus

This well-crafted replica of the Estemmenosuchus is ideal for collecting, imaginative play, or fun education. The Estemmenosuchus figurine represents a prehistoric creature known as a therapsid. It wasn't a dinosaur, and in fact it lived in the Permian period, more than 265 million years ago, long before dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Therapsids were the early ancestors of what would one day become mammals. Estemmenosuchus was known for the unique bony growths that sprouted from his head, including two large protrusions protruding from his cheeks, two ornate antlers above his eyes, and a blunt horn on his muzzle. He had a sturdy body with spread legs and a short tail.
