Schleich Pteranodon 15008

Schleich Pteranodon 15008
Pteranodon was one of the largest pterosaurs in the Cretaceous period. The conspicuous bone crest on the back of his neck served as a counterbalance to his long beak. It probably did not flap its wings very often, but rather used the wind to glide through the air like an albatross. The Greek word pteranodon means "toothless wing".
