Spraycraft Airbrush SP30KC with compressor

The Spraycraft Airbrush SP30KC with compressor is ideal for hobby use. The kit consists of a 12 V diaphragm compressor, a spray gun with paint container on top, a 12 V power supply and a 1.5 m connecting pressure hose. The spray gun is simple all-metal. The nozzle continuously flows pressurized air from the compressor, a lever mechanism continuously controls the needle that dispenses the amount of paint to be sprayed by the flowing air. The pistol has a so-called. top filling, so that the paint flows by gravity to the control needle. It offers very precise paint dispensing and thus predictable gun behaviour. The pistol is cleaned only by spraying with the appropriate diluent. Alternatively, the entire needle can be easily removed from time to time and the entire mechanism thoroughly cleaned.

Single-action pistols

Single-action guns are characterized by their simple design and easy operation, which is an advantage because even children and the inexperienced can work with it. As the paint is only fed to the nozzle, cleaning and changing for another colour is quick. The gun has no regulation, so it can be used on larger areas. Single-acting guns work on the principle of the fixer. The paint is drawn in by a vacuum of fast flowing air behind the nozzle, where it is mixed with air and transferred to the surface to be painted.

Double-action pistols

The double-action pistol has a more complex construction, usually a metal casting with a number of parts. The paint fills are usually bottom, side and top, and the shape and design of the gun corresponds to this. It is shaped like a pencil for comfortable holding, which allows precise dosing and direction of the spray stream. The nozzle size can be varied from approx. 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The double-action gun has separate air and paint dosing. Pulling the trigger adds air, pulling backwards opens the nozzle, pulling backwards pulls the needle to add more paint.
