Blobies is a cooperative game where each player starts alone and gradually connects with others based on giving the same answers. And they will connect quite literally, as at the beginning of the game, each player receives a small piece of modelling clay with an eye – their very own blobie. Only by providing identical answers can they merge into one great mega-blob. In each round, players turn over a category card (for example, geography, film, or food), and one of them chooses one of three cards with a specific word. Then, everyone writes their association on a board and subsequently compares their words. Those with the same answer connect their blobies and continue playing together. The goal is for everyone to connect into one large blob within seven rounds.
