The Beast Carefully Covers Its Tracks
In The Beast, the titular monster moves through forests, swamps, and caves using movement cards and tries to hide its tracks from the hunters. Its true location is only revealed when a hunter searches the place where the beast's track appeared, or when the monster itself attacks an unsuspecting victim.
Perfect Cooperation is Key for the Hunters
For the hunters to hunt the Beast, they must cooperate flawlessly at every step—communication and creating a joint strategy are key to taking the Beast down in time. Before each round, both the hunters and the beast participate in a draft for the most important cards. All action cards can be used by both the beast and the hunters.
