The Traxxas Maxx Slash RTR RC car, scaled up to 1:8, is built on the robust Maxx chassis with a powerful VXL-6S brushless drive system. The model delivers fast acceleration, durability, and a top speed of up to 112km/h. It includes an upgraded drivetrain, a clipless body, and a TQi RC set. Thanks to its size, ground clearance, and tyres with an aggressive tread, the model can uncompromisingly handle rough terrain, as well as the road or a skatepark. The drivetrain is equipped with state-of-the-art components, including front, rear, and centre differentials with metal gears, a Cush Drive absorption member, and all-new telescopic driveshafts with a reinforced metal centre.

The Traxxas Maxx Slash RTR RC car is the successor to the 1:10 scale Traxxas Slash RC car model, which, thanks to its features, became the best-selling Short Course model for a decade after Traxxas launched it more than 15 years ago. The Maxx Slash RTR, at an even larger 1:8 scale, is packed with power, durability, and most of all, fun. The Maxx Slash is built on the proven Maxx platform with a composite nylon chassis and integrated shock towers.
Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM)
The Traxxas Maxx Slash RTR RC car features Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM), which improves acceleration and braking in a straight line, even on low-grip surfaces, and never limits performance or slows down the model. It has an adjustable assistance range directly from the transmitter (0–100%).
