The TP-Link VIGI C340-W IP camera is a reliable security solution for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring a detailed 4MP resolution of 2560 × 1440px and a fixed 4mm lens. The camera, in a durable bullet design with an IP66 rating, provides a horizontal viewing angle of 79° and offers full-colour night vision with a range of up to 30m, thanks to its sensitive sensor and integrated LED spotlights. The device supports human detection, motion detection, line-crossing detection, area intrusion detection, and camera tampering detection. It is powered by the included 12V DC power adapter connected via a 5.5mm power connector. The fixed lens with a focal length of 4mm and an aperture of F1.6 provides a horizontal viewing angle of 79°, a vertical angle of 43°, and a screen size angle of 93°. Efficient encoding using modern compression formats H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 significantly reduces network load and saves storage space without losing the visual quality of the recorded video.

Full-Colour Night Vision
The device reliably monitors the area in any lighting conditions and offers flexible night modes with a range of up to 30m. Classic infrared vision with a wavelength of 850nm is complemented by a full-colour night mode, which uses two powerful white LEDs. A sensitive sensor with a minimum illumination of 0.005 lux, together with the integrated white LEDs, ensures a colour image even in complete darkness, while the activation of the supplemental light can be controlled automatically, according to a schedule, or left permanently on or off.
Smart Detection and Audio Communication
Integrated Smart Detection features continuously analyse the captured scene and recognise events in the monitored area. The system supports motion detection, human detection, line-crossing detection, intrusion into a defined area, and camera tampering detection. When an event is recorded, it can send a push notification and activate an audible alert or flash a white light. The body's design incorporates an integrated microphone and speaker, which facilitate real-time two-way audio transmission. The built-in microphone can record ambient sounds within a radius of up to 5m from the camera. This hardware allows for voice communication with people in front of the lens and can play an audible alert when an alarm is triggered.
Recording Storage and Connectivity
Users have local storage available via a built-in microSD memory card slot supporting capacities up to 256GB. The camera allows you to save recordings directly to the memory card and supports cloud services as well as a wide range of network protocols, including FTP/SFTP for network communication. Wireless network connection is handled via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and two integrated omnidirectional antennas. A 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port is also available. Management and viewing are enabled through the VIGI app, web interface, VIGI VMS, VIGI Cloud VMS, VIGI Config Tool, and VIGI PC Client.
