Kenya Muranga AA is a limited microlot from Muranga district, on the fertile slopes of the Aberdare Mountains. The red volcanic soil, the cooler climate and the abundance of springs and valleys create ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the coffee cherries and the development of their complex flavour. Each farmer here farms a small piece of land, which allows for maximum care of the plants and careful selection of only the ripest fruit.

The coffee is processed using the traditional Kenyan washed method with a unique "soaking" step. It brings to the cup the exceptional purity and clarity of flavours that have made Kenyan coffee famous around the world. This microlot was selected directly during the harvest based on a top cup score and represents the best Muranga has to offer. In the cup, you will find a juicy acidity and a full-bodied taste with notes of berries, lemonade and cooked pear. A long, clean aftertaste reminiscent of cranberry juice underlines the elegance and freshness of this coffee.
