Ubiquiti airMax Horn 30°

Ubiquiti airMax Horn 30°
The Ubiquiti HORN-5-30 directional WiFi antenna transmits a wireless signal in the 5GHz frequency band, specifically in the range from 5.15 to 5.85GHz. This outdoor antenna, with dual-linear polarisation and a 30° beam angle, is suitable for building Point-to-Point links or as a client station in Point-to-MultiPoint networks. The directional WiFi antenna with dual-linear polarisation operates with WiFi 5 technology and achieves a gain of 19dBi. You install the antenna on a router for stable outdoor wireless transmissions. Its outdoor design protects the internal components from dust and water ingress. The mechanical construction withstands strong winds of up to 200km/h, with a wind load of 56N at this speed. The total weight of the device is 1.1kg, which contributes to its mounting stability and reliable operation in challenging weather conditions.

Key Features of the Ubiquiti HORN-5-30 WiFi Antenna
- Connect the directional antenna to your router
- Designed for outdoor use
- The antenna achieves a gain of 19dBi and uses dual polarisation
- Resistant to water and dust
- The beam angle is 30°
- Works with WiFi 5 technology
Modular Design and Suppression of Unwanted Radiation
The sector antenna uses interchangeable horn emitters that change the beam angles from 30° to 90° according to the specific installation requirements. The modular system simplifies the adaptation of the antenna's radiation pattern depending on the surrounding environment and improves beamforming for specific needs. The quick release of the emitter with the push of a single button makes it easy to work directly on the mast during replacement. The antenna exhibits extremely low back radiation and minimises side lobes. These features limit mutual interference between adjacent transmitters located on the same mast and increase performance in co-location setups. Two symmetrical antennas with 30° and 45° angles and two asymmetrical antennas with 60° and 90° angles are available, offering a high front-to-back ratio and facilitating the installation of dense sector clusters.
Compatibility with Radio Units and Operation in the 5GHz Band
The emitter is fully compatible with selected Ubiquiti radio units. It can be connected to airFiber LTU AF-LTU, IsoStation IS-5AC, IsoStation IS-M5, or PrismStation PS-5AC systems. When connected to a PrismStation 5AC unit, it serves as an access point for communication with IsoStation 5AC client stations in Point-to-MultiPoint networks, or alternatively, two IsoStation 5AC units can be used to create a Point-to-Point link. The antenna operates in the frequency range of 5.15 to 5.85GHz, which offers plenty of free channels for wireless transmissions. The dual-linear polarisation improves transmission properties in noisy environments, with an isolation between polarisations of 17dB and a maximum VSWR value of 1.7:1.
