Ubiquiti UniFi 5G Max
The Ubiquiti UniFi 5 router provides a mobile internet connection for your business or home UniFi network. The device receives a mobile signal and converts it to an Ethernet interface. The internal hardware includes an integrated Qualcomm processor, complemented by 1,024MB of RAM and 8,192MB of internal flash storage for smooth and stable operation of all network functions. This single-band internal router works with 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n standards as part of WiFi 4 technology and secures wireless communication with the WPA2 protocol.

5G Mobile Connectivity
The router supports 5G NR, 4G LTE and 3G UMTS standards for fast mobile data transfers. In 5G NSA mode, it downloads data at up to 3.4Gbps and uploads at 560Mbps, while in 5G SA mode, it downloads at 1.8Gbps and uploads at 650Mbps. The internal 4dBi gain antennas receive a signal across a wide spectrum of frequency bands from n1 to n79. The device includes slots for a nano SIM and a second nano SIM or eSIM card for flexible choice of mobile operator in different locations.
Power and Installation
Connection to the local network is via a single 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet port, which handles high-throughput transfers. The port also serves as a PoE input to power the device, with a consumption of up to 14.5W. The design allows for mounting on a desk stand, wall, or window pane using the included brackets.
User Interface
The front features a 1.3″ touchscreen that clearly displays the current connection status and network parameters. Management and configuration can be done remotely via the cloud or locally using the mobile app on your phone. The device requires a UniFi network version 10.0.162 or newer to run. For physical control and a possible return to the default state, there is a single hardware factory reset button located on the body of the device.
Durability and Construction
The enclosure combines polycarbonate and aluminium alloy for sufficient mechanical durability for indoor use. The device meets the IK04 tamper resistance specification to protect internal components from damage. The indoor design can handle temperatures from 0 to 40°C at 5 to 95% ambient humidity without unwanted condensation.
Network Functions
The router fully supports IPv6 addressing protocols and includes an integrated DHCP server, client functions, and a DHCP Client List. In the event of a primary fixed connection failure, the system will automatically switch to the backup mobile network. The security of transmitted data is ensured by WPA2 encryption on the WiFi 4 standard wireless interface. The device also offers the option of expanding to a GSM network and is certified by CE, PTCRB and GCF.
