Central management and control
Take full control of your routing with the UniFi Network software. This free software lets you efficiently manage and configure your network. From basic settings to advanced features like multiple SSIDs, a guest account, landing pages and detailed traffic statistics, network management is easy and effective. The Ubiquiti UniFi AP 6 Pro Wi-Fi Access Point has a modern and discreet design. Wi-Fi network speed and standards
The device fully utilises the 802.11ax standard, while maintaining backward compatibility with older 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols. The signal is transmitted via integrated antennas with a gain of 6dBi for the 5GHz frequency and 4dBi for the 2.4GHz frequency. MU-MIMO technology efficiently divides capacity among multiple active clients simultaneously. The access point uses a total of 6 spatial streams for the smooth transfer of large volumes of data.
Coverage and mesh
This access point covers an area of 140m² with a stable signal. Support for Wireless Meshing and fast roaming technologies according to the 802.11r standard facilitates the transition of mobile devices between transmitters. Multiple access points can be connected to a single network under one name. The system's capacity can handle traffic for more than 250 concurrently connected devices.
Advanced data security
Transmitted data protection meets security standards including the WPA3 protocol. The system isolates the guest network from internal resources and prevents unauthorised access to sensitive files. Advanced WPA-Enterprise and Private Pre-Shared Key encryption protocols are available for user authentication. There is also support for encrypted RADIUS over TLS transmission in an enterprise environment.
Connectivity
A single gigabit RJ45 ethernet port handles the physical connection of the device to the network. This port also serves to power the access point using Power over Ethernet technology. The device requires a supported DC voltage in the range of 44 to 57V with a power consumption of 13W. An ethernet interface or wireless Bluetooth technology is used for initial configuration and management.
