The Ubiquiti UniFi AP is an indoor access point with Wi-Fi 6 support. This dual-band access point operates on two frequency bands. The polycarbonate and aluminium construction, weighing 338g, allows for ceiling or wall mounting, and the necessary mounting brackets are included in the package. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -30 to 60°C. The entire system is centrally managed by the UniFi Network software application, version 7.3.76 or newer.

High-speed Wi-Fi 6 standard
Wireless transmission uses the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which is backwards compatible with older 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11ac standards. The device transmits on two frequency bands simultaneously. MU-MIMO technology in a 2×2 configuration on both frequencies increases the overall network throughput. Four spatial streams help to stabilise data transfers under heavy load. The device achieves high speeds on both bands. On the 5GHz band, it reaches a speed of 2400Mbps, and on the 2.4GHz band, 573.5Mbps.
Mesh technology and coverage of the Ubiquiti UniFi AP
The device covers an area of 140m² and can handle more than 300 connected client stations at once. Support for Wireless Meshing technology simplifies the creation of extensive wireless networks without the need to lay additional cables. Integrated 802.11r and 802.11v protocols facilitate fast roaming for client devices between individual access points.
Advanced wireless network security
Data transmission protection meets demanding corporate standards thanks to a wide range of encryption protocols. The system isolates the guest network from internal company resources, thus increasing overall security. Support for Private Pre-Shared Keys (PPSK) helps administrators to efficiently manage individual users' access rights. The device supports a wide range of encryption protocols, such as WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA2-Enterprise.
Connector options
A single 1Gbps Ethernet port provides a wired connection to the network infrastructure. The device requires power over the Ethernet cable using the active PoE standard with a voltage range of 44 to 57V. Active PoE power simplifies ceiling or wall mounting, as there is no need to run a separate power cable.
