The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 LR WiFi Access Point is a dual-band network device with Wi-Fi 7 support. The access point provides a wireless connection for both business and home environments. The device transfers data at a combined speed of up to 4988Mbps and uses the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. The circular chassis makes it easy to mount on a wall or ceiling. The integrated 6dBi gain antenna in the 5GHz band effectively distributes the signal throughout the entire space. The access point uses a total of five spatial streams and operates with a transmit power of up to 27dBm.

Wireless connection
The device fully supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard and is backward compatible with older 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax versions. It transmits data at speeds of up to 4300Mbps in the 5GHz band and operates at up to 688Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. Advanced MU-MIMO technology, along with OFDMA, improves the efficient distribution of signal to multiple devices simultaneously. These systems coordinate data flows and prevent network congestion in areas with a high concentration of users.
Coverage and mesh technology
The access point covers an area of up to 160m² with a stable signal. The integrated wireless meshing solution allows multiple units to be linked into a single coherent system. The system handles over 300 connected client devices at once. Users can move freely throughout the entire area without the risk of dropouts or the need to manually switch between individual access points.
Network security
The security of transmitted data is protected by WPA2, WPA2-Enterprise, and WPA3 encryption protocols. The device includes an integrated firewall and supports guest network isolation to enhance the protection of internal resources. Administrators can create up to 8 separate SSIDs for different user groups. It also includes features such as Access Control, a Guest Zone, and secure authentication via the RADIUS protocol.
Connectivity
The access point offers one 2.5Gbps RJ45 Ethernet port for a fast wired connection to the network. The device uses active PoE power according to the 802.3af standard, with a supported voltage range of 42.5 to 57V DC. The polycarbonate and aluminium alloy construction withstands ambient temperatures from -30 to 50°C, while power consumption does not exceed 14W. A mounting bracket and mounting kit are included in the package.
