Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G5 Turret Ultra
The Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G5 Turret Ultra IP camera captures its surroundings in high resolution of 2688 × 1512 pixels at a frame rate of 30 FPS. The wide horizontal viewing angle of 102.4° provides a great overview of the monitored area. At night, the built-in illumination with a range of up to 30m is activated, which is complemented by advanced algorithms for object recognition without the need for additional lighting. Power is supplied via an Ethernet cable using PoE technology. The durable construction with an IP66 rating reliably withstands adverse weather conditions.

- The device works with Google Home and Home Assistant systems
Image Parameters of the IP Camera
At the heart of the camera is a 1/2.4" CMOS sensor, which captures images at a resolution of 2688 × 1512px. The fixed focal length lens prevents blurring. The horizontal viewing angle of 102.4° is complemented by a vertical angle of 54.9° and a screen size angle of 120.6°. H.264 video compression effectively reduces the volume of transmitted data and saves storage space. A frame rate of 30 frames per second maintains recording smoothness to capture fast movements.
Key Features of the Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera
It detects motion, people, vehicles and animals, has an integrated microphone to record surrounding sound, and is powered by PoE technology. The camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, its IK04 rating ensures vandal resistance, it works with the manufacturer's app, Google Home and Home Assistant, you can easily mount it on a wall or ceiling, and it operates reliably in temperatures from -30 to 50°C.
Smart Detection and Features
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms analyse the scene in real time. The system reliably recognises motion, people, vehicles and animals, thus preventing false alarms. When an event is recorded, the system sends instant mobile notifications with an incident alert directly to your phone. This gives users an immediate overview of what is happening in the monitored area without having to constantly watch the video.
Durability and Installation Options
The aluminium alloy and UV-stabilised polycarbonate construction is highly resistant to external influences. The IP66 protection rating protects the internal electronics from rain and dust. Mechanical protection is provided by the IK04 certification against damage. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -30 to 50°C. A ceiling or wall mount is included for installation. Power is supplied by an Ethernet cable with PoE support and a power consumption of 4W.
Connectivity and Application of the IP Camera
A wired network connection is provided by a fast 10/100 MbE RJ-45 Ethernet port. For management and image monitoring, there is a manufacturer's application compatible with Android, iOS and Windows operating systems. The system supports integration into the Google Home smart home and the Home Assistant platform for centralised control. Voice commands are processed by the Google Assistant.
