Urgo Blisters are hydrocolloid plasters made with state-of-the-art technology. They prevent blisters from forming, relieve pain and help to heal existing blisters. The plasters repel water and bacteria, so you can use them in the shower or bath. Use
Dosage and method of use
Dosage:
1. Do not pierce the blister.
2. Whether the blister is burst or not, clean it and the surrounding area with soap and water and disinfect with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). Dry with a sterile swab or allow to air dry.
3. Open the sachet and remove the plaster. Warm the plaster in your hands to make it more pliable.
4. Remove the first protective wing without touching the adhesive centre of the plaster, and place the hydrocolloid plaster over the centre of the blister. The blister must be completely covered by the hydrocolloid plaster (the cream-coloured central part).
5. Carefully remove the second protective wing and press down the edges of the plaster to enhance its adhesion.
The plaster should not be left on for more than 2–3 days. If it does not come off on its own, you must remove it. Then apply a new plaster according to the instructions for use.
Use:
When in contact with fluid (exudate) from the wound, the hydrocolloid mass forms a white, moist gel over the injury. It provides fast pain relief, promotes healing, protects the wound like a second skin and is painless to remove. The formation of a white gel instead of a scab is normal and aids healing. This gel instantly soothes pain, speeds up healing and protects the wound like a second skin.
