URO-MANOSA contains 500 mg of D-Mannose. When URO - MANOSA is used, D-Manosa is excreted unchanged by the kidneys in the urine, where it binds to the surface of Escherichia coli and is then excreted in the urine. Escherichia coli is the most common cause of urinary tract infections.
