Magnetic attachment for seamless creation
Using integrated magnets, the drive attaches securely to the back of a MagSafe-enabled iPhone or other smartphones with a magnetic case. This connection eliminates the need for additional mounts when filming and stabilises the entire setup. The design supports direct recording of 4K video in ProRes at 60 frames per second straight to the external storage. Saving directly to the drive frees up your phone's internal memory, prevents recording interruptions, and speeds up the entire workflow from recording to post-production.
Performance of the Verbatim SnapBack SSD 2TB external drive
At the heart of the drive is fast SSD storage connected via a USB-C interface. The USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard operates at a transfer speed of up to 20Gbps, which reduces the time needed to copy large files. The data read speed reaches up to 2000MB/s and the write speed up to 1800MB/s. These parameters make working with high-resolution video more efficient and speed up the transfer of projects between the recording device and the workstation for final editing.
Compatibility of the Verbatim SnapBack SSD 2TB external drive
The drive works with devices running Windows, macOS, Android, and is ready for iPhone 15 and newer models with a USB-C port. The package includes two USB-C cables – one standard for connecting to a computer and one U-shaped cable for gripping the phone, which makes it easier to hold the phone securely while recording. Also available is the included Nero 3-2-1 software for automatic backups, which is used for regular, scheduled data saving to help protect your projects from loss.
