Wide Field of View for Impressive Shots
The VILTROX 14mm f/4 Air lens offers an exceptionally wide 112.6° angle of view, allowing you to capture expansive landscapes, architecture, and tight interiors in all their glory. The wide-angle focal length also makes it easier to shoot in places where there isn't enough space to step back. In addition, its compact design means you can always have the lens on hand, whether you're heading out on your travels or shooting in the city.
Compact Dimensions of the VILTROX Lens
Its light and compact design makes the VILTROX 14mm f/4 Air lens a great companion for travel and everyday photography. It fits easily into a camera bag or jacket pocket, so you can always have it with you. Furthermore, its low weight of just 185g contributes to more comfortable handling, even during longer photoshoots.
Fast Autofocus with Minimal Focus Breathing
Precise and swift focusing is handled by a modern STM motor that reliably keeps even moving subjects in focus. This makes it easy to capture children at play, pets, and dynamic street moments. You will also appreciate its quiet operation and smooth refocusing when shooting videos and vlogs. The VILTROX 14mm f/4 Air lens also minimises focus breathing, making transitions between focused subjects appear more natural and giving the final footage a more professional look. This feature is also beneficial when focus stacking images, as it contributes to achieving more accurate results.
Advanced Optical Design for Sharp Images
The sophisticated optical system, composed of 12 elements in 9 groups, ensures high image quality across the entire frame. The combination of 2 aspherical, 4 ED, and 2 HR elements effectively reduces chromatic aberration and distortion, so your photos will stand out with high sharpness, faithful detail reproduction, and a clean image from the centre to the edges of the frame.
High-Quality Optics with Minimal Distortion
A pair of aspherical lenses contributes to the high image quality while maintaining the compact size of the VILTROX 14mm f/4 Air lens. The advanced optical design effectively suppresses distortion, thus preserving a natural perspective even when shooting at a wide angle. At the same time, special multi-layer anti-reflective coatings reduce flare and unwanted reflections, allowing you to get clean and high-contrast images even when shooting against the sun or in challenging lighting conditions.
The VILTROX Lens Allows You to Shoot from Just 13cm Away
A minimum focusing distance of 13cm opens up new possibilities for creative photography. It allows you to emphasise subjects in the foreground, capture impressive details up close, and at the same time keep a wide background in the shot. The result is original images with a striking perspective and a natural sense of depth that will catch the eye at first glance.
Durable Construction of the VILTROX Lens
The VILTROX 14mm f/4 Air lens is designed for reliable use in various conditions. The sealed construction helps protect the internal parts from dust and moisture, while the metal bayonet mount ensures a long life and a secure attachment to the camera. The front element is coated with a protective layer that repels water and dirt, making it easier to maintain. There is also a 58mm filter thread and a USB-C port for easy firmware updates.
