Vipow BAT0201 Gel Battery 6V, 12Ah

The Vipow BAT0201 gel battery serves as a power source for devices requiring a 6V supply. Thanks to its gel technology, it has a capacity of 12Ah in a 20-hour discharge cycle. The battery is designed for a lifespan of up to 500 charge cycles. It also has a low self-discharge rate, which you'll appreciate when using your device seasonally or occasionally.

Key features of the Vipow BAT0201 gel battery

  • Designed for devices requiring a 6V voltage
  • Made with gel technology
  • 6V voltage and 12Ah capacity (20h)
  • Lifespan of up to 500 charge cycles
  • Internal resistance of 7mΩ (when fully charged at 25°C)
  • Low self-discharge (91% capacity after 3 months of storage)
  • Equipped with an F1 type connector
  • Dimensions 150×50×94mm (L×W×H)
  • Weight 1.97kg

Operating modes and charging

The battery is optimised for two basic operating modes. In standby mode, it operates at a voltage of 6.8–6.9V. For cyclical use, which involves regular discharging and charging, a voltage of 7.25–7.45V is recommended. The maximum initial current should not exceed 3.6A.

Performance in different temperatures

The battery's capacity depends on the ambient temperature. At a standard temperature of 25°C, it provides 100% of its capacity. In a warmer environment at 40°C, its performance increases to 102%. Conversely, its capacity decreases in the cold – at 0°C it reaches 85%, and in freezing temperatures of -15°C it drops to 62%. Thanks to its low self-discharge rate, it retains 64% of its original capacity even after 9 months of storage at 25°C.
