Vipow BAT0214 12V/7.5Ah Gel Rechargeable Battery

The Vipow BAT0214 gel battery is a maintenance-free accumulator with a voltage of 12V and a capacity of 7.5Ah. Thanks to its gel electrolyte, it does not require water top-ups and is resistant to shocks and vibrations. Its design allows it to be stored and operated in any position. The battery offers a lifespan of up to 500 charge cycles and is suitable for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), alarms or emergency lighting.

Maintenance-free design for reliable operation

The Vipow gel accumulator is designed for maximum reliability and minimal maintenance. The electrolyte is bound in a gel form, which prevents leakage and allows the battery to be operated in any position, including tilted or on its side. This design is completely maintenance-free for its entire lifespan, so you don't need to check or top up the electrolyte. The battery is also more resistant to shocks and vibrations compared to traditional lead-acid accumulators.

Long lifespan and minimal self-discharge

The battery is designed for long-term use with a lifespan of up to 500 full charge and discharge cycles. It also excels with a low self-discharge rate, which is ideal for seasonal use or long-term storage. Even after three months of inactivity, it retains up to 91% of its capacity. After six months of storage, the capacity drops to 82%, and after nine months to a still-usable 64%, minimising the need for frequent recharging.

Optimised operating parameters

The accumulator offers specific charging modes for different uses. For stand-by mode at 25°C, a voltage of 13.6–13.8V is recommended, while for cyclical use, the optimal voltage is 14.5–14.9V. The maximum initial current should not exceed 2.25A. The battery also performs well at various temperatures, reaching up to 102% of its nominal capacity at 40°C. At 0°C, it provides 85% capacity, and at -15°C, a still-impressive 62%.
