Curcumin is the main curcuminoid found in turmeric (Curcuma longa, a plant in the same family as ginger). Turmeric is used as a spice and also has a long tradition in folk medicine. Turmeric has a long tradition of use in Ayurveda and is still widely used throughout the world. Viridian curcumin is sourced from a small farm in South India and contains a high dose of curcumin standardized to 85% curcuminoids. The curcumin in this supplement is synergistically combined with coenzyme Q10 and MCTs from coconut oil.
