The Virtuos CCD Reader Virtuos HT-855A, RS-232 - Black (1D, 2D, QR) is a CCD barcode scanner. In other words, it uses tiny photodiodes that act as sensors, which illuminate the barcode at the same time. The great thing about this solution is that it has no mechanical parts, while the downside is its relatively short scanning distance. The device can handle 1D, 2D and QR codes, i.e. classic barcodes used to label consumer goods, The scanner can process 1D, 2D and QR codes, i.e. not only standard barcodes, but also QR diagrams, with a speed of 60 scans/s scans per second.
