Vizik LUMINA eye drops with pharmaceutical hyaluron treat the surface of the eye, moisturize it and relieve symptoms of dry eye (sicca syndrome) such as irritated, red, itchy, watery and/or very sensitive eyes. They form a viscous elastic clear protective film on the cornea without preservatives and without affecting vision. This is achieved thanks to sodium hyaluronate's ability to bind water. Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid and is found naturally in the vitreous of the eye, among other places. Improving eye moisturization will ensure that the whites of the eyes look more intense again, as moisturization reduces the effects of eye rubbing and alleviates the associated redness. The eye drops Vizik LUMINA with pharmaceutical hyaluron also contain the dye patent blue V, which reduces slight redness and yellowish discolouration of the eye and thus lightens and brightens the whites. Vizik LUMINA eye drops with pharmaceutical grade hyaluron do not contain any preservatives and are therefore well tolerated.
