Voltaren Forte helps you relieve acute joint and muscle pain so you can actively enjoy your day despite your discomfort. Voltaren Forte gel acts specifically and directly at the site of pain. It contains the active ingredient diclofenac and is used to relieve pain, suppress inflammation and reduce swelling in painful conditions affecting muscles and joints.

Voltaren Forte gel acts specifically and directly at the site of pain. Diclofenac contained in Voltaren Forte not only reduces pain, but also acts as an anti-inflammatory. The primary mechanism of action of diclofenac is inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis via cyclooxygenase type 2. Prostaglandins play a major role in inflammation, pain and fever. The active ingredient diclofenac, when applied topically to the painful area, accumulates in the inflamed tissue and acts directly where it is needed.
How to use Voltaren Forte
Voltaren Emulgel is indicated for adults and adolescents 14 years of age and older
For pain relief for up to 24 hours, apply Voltaren Forte twice daily, morning and evening, to the painful area.
Voltaren Forte is intended to be rubbed into the skin for adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older. It contains the medicinal substance diclofenac, which acts on deep-seated inflamed tissues.
Always use this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist.
Special closure - easy to open and close with one hand
The hinged cap can be easily opened with a finger, thumb, the edge of your hand or even the edge of a table against the bottom of the cap.
Closing the hinged cap is just as easy - push on the cap with your fingers, the edge of your hand or even the edge of the table until you hear a click.
How to dose Voltaren Forte
Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, 2 g to 4 g of gel is applied (the amount corresponding to the size of a cherry to walnut).
- Cherry (approximately 400 cm2) - for post-traumatic soft tissue injuries: tendons, ties, muscles, joints (shoulder, ankle, smaller joints of the hands).
- Walnut (approx. 800 cm2, A4 = 624 cm2) - for injuries to large areas of soft tissue: thighs, back and post-traumatic knee injuries.
- Gently rub a small amount of Voltaren Forte into the skin at the site of pain or swelling.

Voltaren Forte accelerates healing by 4 days compared to 8 days for the gel without the drug. When used 2 times a day according to the information in the package leaflet.

Voltaren Forte only needs to be applied 2 times a day, morning and evening, for relief up to 24 hours. In addition, thanks to the specially designed cap, it allows those suffering from joint pain to open the tube more easily.
