The Wacaco Prestina coffee maker uses a patented system that combines the advantages of immersion brewing and pressure extraction. The process begins with a pre-infusion function, which ensures the ground coffee is evenly saturated, preparing it for a full-flavoured extraction. By then pressing the piston, you force hot water through the 15g capacity coffee basket. The integrated stainless steel micro-filter ensures a clean, sediment-free drink while eliminating the need for paper filters. The entire process of preparing a single cup takes about three minutes.
