The Wimex lid is designed as a cap for paper cups. Thanks to its integrated drinking hole, it's ideal for hot drinks. It is made from CPLA, which is crystallised polylactic acid derived from corn starch. This material is fully biodegradable and compostable, as well as heat-resistant up to 90°C for less than half an hour. The pack contains 100 single-use lids.

Properties of CPLA material
The lids are made from CPLA, which is crystallised polylactic acid. This polymer is derived from renewable resources, specifically corn starch, and is fully biodegradable and compostable. Thanks to the crystallisation process, the lids are heat-resistant up to 90°C for less than half an hour, making them suitable for cups with hot drinks. After use, they can be disposed of in the plastics container, where they are sorted under the recycling symbol 07 O.
