Power, connectivity, and versatile use
The TA-22 supports models with an impedance of approximately 16 to 600 Ohm and delivers up to 3000mW of power via its balanced output. It features USB DAC, optical, coaxial, AUX, balanced XLR, 4.4mm balanced, and Bluetooth inputs, so you can easily connect it to your computer, TV, streamers, game consoles, or phone. The outputs include a 6.3mm jack, 4.4mm balanced, 4-pin XLR, and an RCA line-out for an amplifier or active speakers.
Valve character and a modern digital section
The xDuoo TA-22 uses a pair of 12AU7 valves in its preamplifier stage, which give the sound a more natural tonality, subtlety, and a wider soundstage. The digital section is built around dual ESS ES9038Q2M chips, supporting high-resolution audio up to PCM 32-bit / 384kHz and DSD256. The OLED display shows the active input and important operational information, while the gain switch lets you adjust the sensitivity for different types of headphones. The Bass Boost function enhances low frequencies to suit your preferences, and the RCA output enables you to use the device as a standalone preamplifier.
