Xiaomi Mi Router 4A
Xiaomi Mi Router 4A
The Xiaomi Mi Router 4A WiFi router operates on the Wi-Fi 5 standard in dual-band mode with a total transfer speed of 1,167Mbps. The device transmits a signal on two bands simultaneously, transferring data at 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band. Four external omnidirectional antennas stabilise the connection and extend coverage even in complex spaces. The integrated 64MB RAM can handle dozens of connected devices without dropouts.

WiFi Router Speed and Bands
The device uses the Wi-Fi 5 standard and operates on two frequency bands simultaneously. The Smart Connect feature combines both frequencies under a single wireless network name, with connected devices automatically selecting the optimal band. The LDPC algorithm increases noise resistance and improves transmission efficiency: 2.4GHz band with a speed of 300Mbps for longer range, 5GHz band with a speed of 867Mbps for demanding tasks.
Coverage and Stable Connection
Four external omnidirectional antennas with a precise configuration increase transmission power. An integrated power amplifier and low-noise amplifier boost the signal and improve receiver sensitivity. The 64MB hardware memory maintains a stable connection for up to 64 simultaneously communicating devices. Cooling with a metal substrate and nanomaterials effectively dissipates heat from the processor, preventing overheating under heavy load.
Xiaomi Mi Router 4A Network Security and Connectivity
Network security is managed by WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption protocols, which protect transmitted data from misuse. Parental controls help limit time spent online and block access to selected websites. The mobile app sends instant notifications when unknown users connect and allows you to block them immediately. WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption, parental controls for managing time and content, unauthorised access detection with blocking capability. Wired internet and local network connections are handled by physical ports on the back of the device. The router uses standard interfaces for reliable data transfer to desktop computers, TVs, or network storage. Two LAN ports and one WAN port are used for network connection: 1× WAN port (10/100Mbps), 2× LAN ports (10/100Mbps).
