The Xiaomi Smart L1 EU projector uses LCD display technology with an LED light source to project in native 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. This Full HD projector with the Android TV operating system opens up access to over 400,000 films and series. A throw ratio of 1.2:1 places it among short-throw projectors, which can create an image up to 120" even in smaller spaces. The setup process is simplified by omni-directional automatic keystone correction and motorised autofocus. The sound is provided by two 3W speakers with Dolby Audio support. Image parameters and projection
LCD display technology combined with an LED light source provides an image in a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. A brightness of 200 ISO lumens allows for viewing in fully darkened rooms. The 1000:1 contrast ratio helps to render dark scenes. With a throw ratio of 1.2:1, the Xiaomi L1 projector creates a 40" image from a distance of just 1.2 metres. The maximum image screen size reaches 120" at a projection distance of 3.6 metres. The lens, with its high light transmission accuracy, supports faithful colour reproduction.
Automatic calibration
The projector includes systems for automated image adjustment. Omni-directional automatic correction adjusts for keystone distortion according to the projector's current position, eliminating the need for manual geometry adjustments. The motorised zoom ensures fast and automatic image focusing. In addition, an intelligent algorithm recognises obstacles on the projection surface, such as light switches or picture frames, and adapts the size of the projected image to them. The system also automatically aligns the image to the edges of the projection screen for precise placement.
Smart features and performance
The integrated Android TV operating system provides access to content from streaming services and apps. Smooth system operation is handled by the MT9630 processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For control, you can use the Bluetooth remote or voice commands via Google Assistant.
Optics, cooling and operation
At the heart of the projector is a completely sealed optical unit. This design prevents dust particles from entering the LCD panel and optical path, thereby extending its lifespan and maintaining consistent image quality. The dual-circuit cooling system efficiently dissipates heat and keeps the noise level at ≤ 30dB(A) in quiet Cinema mode. The light source is LED technology, with the total power consumption of the device up to 72W. Compact dimensions of 11.8×14.22×17.55cm and a weight of 1.2kg make it easy to carry and install.
Connectivity options
For wireless connection, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Wired connectivity includes an HDMI port, a USB 2.0 port for media playback, and a headphone output. The Google Cast feature enables screen mirroring from your phone or tablet.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
