Quiet operation with FDB bearings
The fan operates with a low noise level that does not exceed 22dB at maximum speed. The key to this result is the Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB). An oil film inside the bearing stabilises the rotor axis, reduces friction, and minimises vibration during operation. Compared to standard sleeve bearings, this design limits wear and tear and runs more smoothly, even under long-term load.
Fan connection
The fan communicates with the motherboard via a 4-pin connector and uses pulse-width modulation (PWM). This enables the system to automatically adjust the fan speed according to the current temperature of the processor or other components. Under low load, the speed stays at the lower limit of 900RPM for quiet operation. Conversely, under high load, it increases to 1800RPM for sufficient cooling.
