Packeta (known also as Zásilkovna in Czechia) is a vast delivery network with more than 7,000 pick-up points in the country, where you can have your ordered items delivered easily, cheaply, and quickly. Alza.cz also uses this service to fulfill orders.

Instead of operating its own branches, Packeta partners with local businesses of various kinds, so you can find a pick-up point at your nearest petrol station, convenience store, stationery shop, dry cleaner, restaurant, copy center, or even a perfume store.

Thanks to this system, Packeta operates over 7,000 pick-up points across Czechia, in both urban and rural areas, delivering your packages affordably within two days. You can also track your parcel at any time to know exactly where it is and when it will arrive.

Packeta aims to be a better alternative to traditional courier services by focusing on convenience. No more waiting at home for the delivery driver to ring your doorbell! Simply have your parcel delivered to the nearest Packeta partner location, where it will be securely stored for 7 days. If you're unable to pick it up within this period, you can easily extend the storage for free online—up to three weeks.

What are the dimensions and weight limits for a Packeta parcel?

Packeta specialises in delivering smaller and lighter packages, making it an excellent choice for orders like mobile phones, cameras, PC components, and many other products.

Standard parcel dimensions:

  • Maximum weight: 5 kg
  • Maximum size of one side: 70 cm
  • Maximum total dimensions (all three sides): 120 cm (e.g., 50 × 40 × 30 cm)
  • Minimum dimensions: 10 × 7 × 1 cm

How valuable can a Packeta parcel be?

Deliveries via Packeta are available for orders up to 20,000 CZK.

How much does delivery to Packeta cost?

When will my order be ready for pick-up at Packeta?

Orders are typically delivered to your selected Packeta location within two days.

How long do I have to pick up my parcel at Packeta?

Your package will be held at the Packeta location for 7 days. If you know in advance that you cannot collect it within this timeframe, you can extend the storage period to 21 days online before the original 7-day period expires.

Can I pay for my order at a Packeta pick-up point? And how?

Besides paying in advance, you can also choose cash on delivery when picking up your order at Packeta. The maximum amount payable on delivery is 30,000 CZK. Both cash and card payments are usually accepted.

How do I pick up my parcel at Packeta?

  1. Once your parcel is handed over to Packeta for delivery, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number, enabling you to track your shipment.
  2. Once your package arrives at your chosen Packeta pick-up point, you'll receive a password via SMS or email (or find it in the app). If you can't pick up your item within 7 days, you can extend the storage for up to 21 days before the original 7-day period expires.
  3. Use the password at the Packeta pick-up point. This is the only document you need to claim your package. You can also authorise someone else to pick up the package for you by simply giving them the password. No ID is required.
