The types of recording equipment

Internal - uses the services of the latest H.264 hardware encoding with minimal impact on PC performance. This is an elegant solution, but without the physical transfer.

External - a separate recording unit often with a slot for a 2.5" hard disk which can hold many hours of recording. Basic editing functions can be added. Can even be used without a PC. Ideal for frequent use when transmitting or recording of video game consoles.
