This convenient retail pack contains two DDR3 memory modules with the high-quality GOLD heatspreader. These modules are designed for computers in Dual Channel. They have a total capacity of 8 GB and are certified to work at 1600 MHz, which allows them to achieve solid CAS latency (CL11). Compared to DDR2, DDR3 features reduced power consumption, higher data throughput and clock rates. Each of the memory modules has a 240pin interface, which is not compatible with DDR2.
