Zodac is an allergy medicine. Zodac is used in adults and children from 2 years of age to: alleviation of nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis, alleviation of symptoms of chronic urticaria of unclear origin (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dosage of Zodac:
For adults and adolescents over 12 years of age 10 mg (20 drops) once daily, for children aged 6 to 12 years 5 mg (10 drops) twice daily, for children aged 2 to 6 years 2.5 mg (5 drops) twice daily. The drops are administered orally either dropped on a spoon or diluted in a glass of water. If a diluted solution is used, it is important, especially in children, to dilute the drops with only enough water to allow the patient to drink (swallow) the total volume of the solution at one time. The diluted solution should be used immediately.
Contraindications
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before taking this medicine. Zodac should not be given to pregnant women. Accidental use of the drug should not cause any harmful effects on the fetus. However, take the medicine only if absolutely necessary and after consulting your doctor. Cetirizine is excreted in breast milk. The risk of adverse reactions in breastfed infants cannot be excluded. Therefore, do not take Zodac while breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. Read the package insert carefully.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and bottle after "EXP".
Shelf life:
It refers to the last day of that month. This product does not require any special storage conditions. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
