Zyrtec 10 mg/ml oral drops, solution 20 ml

The active substance of Zyrtec is cetirizine dihydrochloride. Zyrtec is an antiallergic.
Oral drops, Zyrtec 10 mg/ml solution is used in adults and children from 2 years of age to:
- relieve nasal and eye symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
- alleviation of urticaria symptoms

💊 Use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose of the product is 10 mg (20 drops) once a day.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose of the product is 5 mg (10 drops) twice a day.
Children aged 2 to 6 years: The recommended dose of the preparation is 2.5 mg (5 drops) twice a day.
The drops are administered orally - either dropped on a spoon or diluted with water in a glass. If a diluted solution is used, it is important, especially in children, to dilute the drops with only enough water to allow the patient to drink (swallow) the entire volume of the solution at once. The diluted solution is taken immediately.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride. One ml (= 20 drops) contains 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. One drop contains 0.5 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride. Excipients are: glycerol 85% (E 422), propylene glycol (E 1520), sodium salt of saccharin, methylparaben (E 218), propylparaben (E 216), sodium acetate trihydrate, glacial acetic acid, purified water.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor first, before taking this medicine. Zyrtec should not be given to pregnant women. Accidental use of the drug should not cause any harmful effects on the fetus. However, take the medicine only if absolutely necessary and after consulting your doctor. Cetirizine is excreted in breast milk. The risk of adverse reactions in breastfed infants cannot be excluded. Therefore, you should not take Zyrtec while breastfeeding without consulting your physician.
Read the package leaflet carefully before taking the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children. In case of side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

📦 Storage

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the box and bottle after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not use for more than 3 months after first opening the bottle. The medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
