Zyxel GS2220-10HP

Managed L2 switch ZyXEL GS2220-10HP is designed for building and managing business networks. It offers eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two additional dual-personality ports, which you can use as copper or fibre optic. With Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, you can power devices like IP cameras or Wi-Fi access points directly from the switch. The total PoE budget is 180W and the switching capacity reaches 20Gb/s, ensuring smooth and reliable operation even under demanding conditions.

High performance and flexible power supply

The switch features a total of ten Gigabit ports. Eight of these serve as standard RJ-45 connectors, while two are dual-personality ports, allowing flexible connection via either copper cable or optical SFP module. Eight ports support the PoE 802.3af standard to power connected devices. With a total PoE budget of 180W and a maximum power output of 30W per port, you have plenty of overhead to power multiple IP cameras, VoIP phones or access points simultaneously. Switching capacity of 20Gb/s ensures high network throughput.

Advanced network management and security

As a fully managed L2 switch, the ZyXEL GS2220-10HP gives you control over network traffic. Features such as Quality of Service (QoS) let you prioritise critical traffic, such as voice calls or video. Use VLANs (virtual networks) to logically segment the network into smaller, secure zones. Link aggregation (LACP) is available to increase throughput and redundancy. Security features include DHCP and IGMP snooping to prevent unwanted traffic, and 802.1X authentication for network access control. The metal enclosure is designed for mounting in a standard rack.
