Longboards

Board shape

• Pintail is the most common longboard. It has a flat surface and its shape resembles an elongated teardrop. This type is suitable for beginners.
• Intermediate riders can choose the cruiser. Its shape resembles a classic skateboard, but it is wider and longer - best for longboard tricks. Its size makes it suitable for the city.
• For experienced riders who want to enjoy a bit of adrenaline, there are hybrid and drop-through longboards. These types of boards have a lowered baseplate.

Choose your board length according to your riding style. Longboards up to the length of 97 cm are best suited for classic rides around town. Those longer than 97 cm allow you to have a nice ride even in gentle terrain.

Wheel size

• The larger wheels, the faster - but at the cost of worse handling and more demanding bouncing technique.
• For a beginner we recommend wheels with a diameter of 75 mm. Buy a larger size only when you gain more experience.

Wheel hardness

• Hardness affects their adhesion to the surface and their ability to deal with uneven terrain.
• Beginners should choose softer wheels (up to 85A). These are suitable for rough and rugged roads. Harder wheels (above 85A) are suitable for the more experienced downhillers and racers who crave higher speeds.
