Replacement cartridge designed to complement the Slime Smart Repair Plus automatic repair kit. Slime Technology: Slime uses Fibro-Seal™ technology to seal punctures. The sealant contains a mixture of fibres, rubber particles and other sealing agents. The tubeless compound also contains corrosion inhibitors to protect the rim and an anti-seepage component that helps the material adhere to the inner wall of the tread when the wheel stops spinning. Once Slime is applied in the tire, it remains in a liquid state and repairs punctures in an inside-out direction. As the wheel rotates, the fluid is spread across the tread by centrifugal force and repairs the resulting punctures. The escaping air pushes the sealant out, using fibres and other sealing components to plug the hole and prevent further air leakage. For emergency use only.
