Kouwell ST-173-7

The ST-173-7 adapter allows for the conversion of an mSATA SSD to a 2.5-inch IDE SSD. The mSATA SSD itself can easily be attached to the frame due to its screwless design. The 2.5-inch 7mm frame can be placed in a 2.5" drive bay with 8 mounting holes and 4 HDD screws. The adapter supports SATA I, SATA II and SATA III with a transmission speed of 6gb/sec.
The device does not require the installation of additional drivers and supports basic operating systems such as Linux, Mac and Windows. The ST-173-7 transmitter supports 48-bit LBA addressing.
