Leros Chamomile 20 × 1 g

This herbal camomile tea, a tried-and-tested helper of our grandmothers, contributes to normal digestion and also helps with relaxation and healthy sleep. This fragrant herb was known even in ancient Egypt, where it was the sacred flower of the sun god Ra. Camomile has also held an irreplaceable place in Czech folk medicine, both in the past and today. An old Czech saying goes: “Take your hat off to camomile, kneel before elderflower.”

Preparation

Pour boiling water (250ml) over 1 teaspoon of the herbs, infuse for 15 minutes, then strain. The tea should always be prepared fresh. Drink it lukewarm.

Taste and Aroma

The sweet and gentle aroma of camomile will soothe and calm a restless mind. Camomile tea has a pleasant, slightly bitter taste and a honey-like colour. You can also sweeten it slightly, preferably with honey.

Warning

May cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to camomile. Store in a dry place at up to 25°C, protected from light and foreign odours. Keep out of reach of children.
