Exceptionally smooth display with high brightness
A refresh rate of up to 185Hz is among the fastest the current market has to offer, ensuring maximum fluidity when scrolling, gaming, or working with apps. The POCO F9 Pro's AMOLED panel with a 2510 × 1156 px resolution delivers a sharp picture, deep blacks, and support for Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and HDR10+ standards for faithful colour reproduction in films and TV series. A peak brightness of up to 4500 nits guarantees excellent readability even in direct sunlight, while the durable Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display from scratches and drops during everyday use.
Extreme detail in every shot
The main 200MP sensor with an f/1.68 aperture captures images full of detail, true-to-life colours, and natural contrast, even in challenging light conditions. Optical image stabilisation (OIS) along with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) ensures sharp photos, even when you're on the move or in poor lighting. Thanks to its high resolution, the POCO F9 Pro also lets you zoom in on more distant details of a scene without losing image quality.
From macro to distant details without losing quality
Where the main sensor reaches its zooming limits, the 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5× optical zoom takes over. It features optical stabilisation and can focus from as close as 10 centimetres for impressive macro shots. At the other end of the spectrum, the setup is completed by an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 112° field of view, which captures vast landscapes, architecture, and group photos in a single frame. These three complementary sensors make the POCO F9 Pro a versatile tool for almost any photographic situation.
High-quality selfies and professional video recording
The front 32MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture captures sharp and detailed selfies and group photos thanks to its wide field of view. You'll appreciate 4K video recording on the rear camera system when filming dynamic scenes, where gyro-based electronic image stabilisation (gyro-EIS) combined with HDR10+ support ensures a smooth and colour-balanced result. Together with the main camera and telephoto lens, the POCO F9 Pro offers a complete photo and video system for travel, portraits, and sharing everyday experiences.
All-day battery life, even with intensive use
The 6330mAh capacity, built on silicon-carbon (Si/C) technology, provides significantly higher energy density than traditional lithium batteries without adding to the phone's thickness or weight. This means the POCO F9 Pro can handle a full day of demanding gaming, video streaming, and regular communication without needing a recharge. Efficient power management combined with the power-saving Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip also extends the overall battery life, even during more intensive use.
Fast charging with or without a cable
When charging time is limited, the 100W wired charging can replenish a large portion of the battery in just a few tens of minutes. For more convenient daily use, the phone also offers 50W wireless charging, which means you just need to place the POCO F9 Pro on a charging pad without having to plug in a cable. Both technologies also support reverse charging (27W wired, 22.5W wireless), so you can use the phone to charge other devices like wireless headphones or a watch if needed.
Performance that handles even the most demanding games
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with powerful Oryon V3 cores clocked at up to 4.6GHz and Adreno 840 graphics, is among the fastest on the market. Paired with 12GB of RAM and LiquidCool technology featuring a vapour chamber, the POCO F9 Pro maintains high and stable performance even during long gaming sessions, without significant frame rate drops due to overheating. The WildBoost Engine system also optimises the performance distribution across the processor cores to ensure demanding games and multitasking run smoothly without unnecessary slowdowns.
Dedicated chip for smoother and sharper gaming visuals
Alongside the main processor, the POCO F9 Pro also features a separate VisionBoost D8 chip, which is dedicated exclusively to image processing and the gaming experience. This allows the AI Super Resolution technology to intelligently fill in missing details, enhancing the perceived image quality in games without burdening the main processor. The Smart Frame Rate function seamlessly adds frames between individual stages, ensuring games run at a stable high frame rate even in scenes that would otherwise slow down the phone's performance. The result is a visibly smoother and sharper picture, without the phone having to sacrifice battery life or thermal stability.
Stable performance even during long gaming sessions
The POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system uses a large vapour chamber that efficiently dissipates heat from the processor's most heavily used areas and spreads it across a larger surface area of the phone's body. This allows the POCO F9 Pro to maintain high and stable performance even during long gaming sessions, without significant frame rate drops due to overheating. Efficient heat dissipation also has a positive effect on the phone's surface temperature, so the device remains comfortable to the touch even after hours of demanding gameplay.
A stronger signal even where other phones lose connection
The dedicated Xiaomi Surge T1+ Tuner chip is exclusively responsible for signal quality and stability, independent of the phone's main processor. Thanks to intelligent antenna tuning and signal processing, the POCO F9 Pro maintains a reliable connection even in areas with weaker coverage where a standard phone would lose signal completely. The offline communication feature also lets you stay in touch with other POCO devices even without a mobile network or Wi-Fi, which is useful in the mountains, at festivals, or in other places with limited coverage.
Xiaomi HyperOS 3 for a responsive system and smart background features
The HyperOS 3 system, built on Android 16, introduces HyperIsland, a dynamic notification bar that displays delivery status, music playback, timers, or incoming calls directly at the top of the screen without you having to leave your current app. In addition, the improved floating windows system on the POCO F9 Pro makes multitasking more natural and fluid, so working with multiple apps at once doesn't feel cumbersome. Deeper integration of artificial intelligence, including Google Gemini assistant, adds practical AI features for searching, photo editing, and daily organisation. Xiaomi also promises to support the phone with four major system updates, so it will stay current even after extended use.
