What is covered by our price guarantee?

The guarantee applies to relevant online market competition within the country. Details of the price comparison can always be found next to the product.

The price guarantee applies to all products in stock, except for sales from external warehouses (for products listed in stock with the supplier) and Alza private brands.

The price guarantee applies to base prices that are not already reduced by a discount campaign, code, etc.

What does the Price Guaranteed mean?
- Price Guaranteed means we will sell a specific product at the same or lower price compared to the price of the product at a defined competitor. If a customer notifies us via the Price Guaranteed form that a specific product is sold by a relevant competitor at a lower eshop price than is the eshop price on Alza.cz, we will match the price if the conditions of the guarantee are met. Exceptions are cases where competition law does not allow us to do so. In this case, we will offer the customer the option to reduce the price to the lowest possible level corresponding to the cost price.
- The price guarantee applies to goods sold by Alza.cz that are marked with the "Price Guaranteed" label at the time the message is sent.
- The e-shop price on alza.cz and the e-shop price of relevant competitors are compared including VAT, excluding shipping and other ancillary costs.
- The decisive moment for determining the starting prices for the assessment of the Guarantee is the moment when the form is checked by a customer care employee (usually within one or two working days after the customer submits the form).
- The Price Guarantee program is valid from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026.
- Alza reserves the right to modify or terminate the offer of products in the program or the Price Guaranteed program altogether at any time, but this will not affect forms already submitted with a notice of a lower price from a relevant competitor.
- If a discounted price for AlzaPlus+ members is available on goods sold by Alza.cz, this discounted price displayed for AlzaPlus+ members is considered the product’s price for the purposes of the Best Price Guarantee.
- In order for the customer to claim the "Price Guarantee", they must have created a registration on our e-shop.
What is not covered by the price guarantee?
- It does not apply to products sold exclusively on Alza.cz, private brand products and products from external warehouses of our partners (partner products are marked as "stocked by supplier").
- The use of the Price Guaranteed program is always limited to 1 product. In the event of a request to apply the Guarantee for a higher number of products, Alza reserves the right to assess the request individually and, if necessary, to refuse it.
- The Price Guaranteed program will not apply if the selected product is out of stock on Alza.cz or at a relevant competitor and cannot be ordered.
- Price Guaranteed can only be used before purchasing the product. Requests to apply the guarantee retrospectively after a purchase are not covered by this program.
What are the most common reasons for rejecting a request?
- The link to the competing offer is broken.
- The link goes to a price comparison website.
- The link refers to a different product type or model.
- The link leads to a vendor outside of our selected relevant competitors (you can find these competitors in the Price Guaranteed pop-up window).
- The product in the competitor's offer is not available in stock.
- The products at the relevant competitor are only offered at a lower price in limited quantities or for a limited time.
- The competitor's price is unreasonably low (e.g. the goods are used or not intended for the Czech market).
- The goods are not available to all customers at the stated price, but only as part of a loyalty or other customer programme.
- Goods from competitors are offered at a price lower than our cost of acquisition. In this case, the law does not allow us to reduce the price.
Where can I find the relevant competitors for the product I have chosen?
- You can find a current list of selected competitors for each product covered by the Price Guaranteed in the pop-up window next to the competitor's eshop price.
How is the price reduction processed after the guarantee is applied?
- Upon submitting a completed form, a customer care representative will contact you within 2 business days with a unique discount code for that product valid for 24 hours. This code will be applied in the shopping cart directly at the time of purchase. Discount codes cannot be combined and only one discount code can be applied to a given product.The discount code cannot be exchanged for cash.
